No whining or complaining over minor things or every day things (weather, traffic, lines, etc.)

No criticizing

No negative self talk

Time Blocking and scheduling for your important goals, tasks, projects

Staying offline and off social media

Scheduling exercise time

Being mindful of your words

Being inclusive of others and open to new people

Scheduling quiet time

Having a bedtime and morning routine

Pick one personal goal for the day vs writing them all down for the day, which leads to overwhelm and then getting none done

Changing the channel in your head- your thoughts set the tone for the day. If you wake up focusing on your flaws, worries and fears, you will lead with that energy. The energy will be shared with your kids, coworkers, clients, partner and friends. Work to set your tone for the day regardless of what happened the day before. We live in a system that teaches a fear of failure and shame vs what you can learn from failing.

Giving out words of encouragement

Get up and get moving 30 minutes a day

Start your day with 3 good things about yourself and 3 things you are thankful for

Aim to lead yourself with grace and compassion before immediately reacting to life
