This is a mixed use paved and unpaved 33 mile trail in Atlanta that allows for walkers, runners, bikers, and scooters for fitness enthusiasts, easy strolling, family walks, city exploration, fresh air exercise, and people watching.

The extensive trail that runs right through parts of the heart of the city going through Piedmont Park in Midtown, to Inman Park and more, consisting of a giant loop that includes shops, restaurants, parks, art walls, housing and more. There are MANY entry points which can make it confusing on which direction to go and where it might lead, so if not from Atlanta, I recommend checking out a map quickly online to see an outline of the trail.

One of my favorite entry points is in Midtown by Piedmont Park headed towards Inman Park (away from Piedmont and Midtown). This direction leads you to Ponce City Market with tons of restaurants, bars and shopping. There is also a Kroger grocery store that has an outdoor dining area offering wine and access to Starbucks. The path can get very crowded, so be prepared for plenty of other people out and about.
