Visiting this farm was a blast! We love anything outdoors, even more so with Covid hitting us in 2020. Pettit Farm provided a family friendly and covid friendly activity that provided the perfect way to spend a Saturday. There is a per car flat fee for the drive thru car visit (not a per person ticket), plus the cost of small (very small) bags of food to feed the animals with as you go along. The total for this was roughly $50.
You will see gorgeous zebras that you can get up close and personal with making for a truly amazing experience! The main attraction is the outgoing and energetic camels. I had never been close to a camel like this before and I fell in love with these slobbery faces. They will not hesitate to shove their heads right inside your car if you let them. You will also get to feed ponies, donkeys and see some kangaroos as you make your way around the farm. If you elect to get out of your vehicle and explore the feeding area, you have the option for $5 camel rides, $5 pony rides, $5-10 feed the giraffe and $5-$10 to feed the farm animals. I did not kiss George the Giraffe, although he wanted a little smooch…., but I did feed him a cracker from my mouth just for a giggle! If you are looking for something fun to do in Georgia whether a local or a visitor, Pettit Creek farm is a must visit.
