5 Minute Thanksgiving Table Decor
Holidays provide the perfect opportunity to get creative with your home decor. Fall is one of my favorite seasons for decorating. Warm colors, metallic shades, and incorporating harvest themes into table centerpieces can create a vibrant appearance. A fabric store is a great resource for getting ideas about the base look. A simple yard of fabric can completely transform a design. For this look below, it took me no more than 5 minutes to put together. The layout gives a whimsical fall look for the table to create a scene like you might find on the forest floor.
For the fabric, found at Joann’s Fabric store, I purchased leather and velvet fabrics in black and gold. The colors and the mix in textures create a richness and depth to the setting. I used a mix of candlestick materials in metal and wood to create vibrancy and contrast. The battery operated candles keep the area safe for the family. I tossed down handfuls of feathers and fake leaves purchased at a local craft store. The pine cones and wooden pumpkins add the final touches to fill out the table. My son loved helping put this together with me and if you can find something to include the kiddies in, then I call it a win!
