3 Gift Wrapping Ideas With Your Kids

I love the idea of gift wrapping, but I also love not wasting money and letting items go unused. I purchased a LARGE roll of white paper to tear apart for arts & crafts time for kids. I barely made a dent in it and after seeing it collecting dust, I decided I could put it to use and create a family activity (without spending money on more wrapping paper)

Hack #1

Take white paper and after wrapping, draw pictures and words to decorate. This creates a very personalized and unique touch. Below I had about 5 minutes so this was not my best work, but it gives you the idea of what you can do.

Hack #2

After wrapping, find objects you can decorate it with. Stickers, old birthday hats (like below), streamers, anything that is easy to tape or glue on there. I didn’t get a picture of my completed gift below, but the picture shows the start.

Hack #3

After wrapping, take your kids drawings and over the gift with their fun and interesting artwork. Not only does this make it fun, but your kids will love seeing their artwork shared with family and friends!
